A educa\u00e7\u00e3o de uma pessoa pode afetar muito a maneira como ela percebe sua carreira.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Por exemplo, algo aparentemente inofensivo, como dar bonecas para meninas e Legos para meninos, pode exacerbar ainda mais os pap\u00e9is de g\u00eanero ultrapassados. \ud83d\ude45\u200d\u2640\ufe0f<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Mas, com tudo isso dito, como seria o mundo da tecnologia se ele fosse mais diversificado?<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>H\u00e1 verdade nos n\u00fameros<\/h2>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Al\u00e9m da mentalidade \u00f3bvia de que \"\u00e9 a coisa certa a fazer\" para ter mais diversidade e representa\u00e7\u00e3o no mundo da tecnologia, isso tamb\u00e9m faz sentido para os neg\u00f3cios.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Um <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/business-functions\/organization\/our-insights\/why-diversity-matters\">estudo da McKinsey &amp; Company<\/a><\/u> constatou que as empresas no quartil superior em termos de diversidade de g\u00eanero ou racial e \u00e9tnica t\u00eam \"maior probabilidade de ter retornos financeiros acima da mediana de seu setor nacional\".<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">E o quartil inferior dessas dimens\u00f5es? Para criar e desenvolver um neg\u00f3cio que atenda a todos, as equipes precisam ouvir aqueles que t\u00eam uma variedade de experi\u00eancias.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Para onde vamos a partir de agora?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">J\u00e1 existem algumas empresas e organiza\u00e7\u00f5es governamentais que est\u00e3o pressionando por mais representa\u00e7\u00e3o no setor de tecnologia, mas \u00e9 preciso ir al\u00e9m (e n\u00e3o apenas resultar em simples cotas).<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Voltando \u00e0 <em>Brotopia<\/em> de Cheng, ela sugere:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">nomea\u00e7\u00e3o de mulheres para as diretorias,<\/li>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">contrata\u00e7\u00e3o de mais mulheres s\u00f3cias<\/li>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">e contratar mais mulheres capitalistas de risco.<\/li>\n<li class=\"translation-block\">O mesmo deve ser feito para todos os grupos marginalizados, \u00e9 claro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Mas o mais importante \u00e9 que o setor de tecnologia precisa parar de culpar todos os outros pelo problema. \ud83d\ude15<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">No Vale do Sil\u00edcio, o fracasso \u00e9 algo celebrado, pois pode ajud\u00e1-lo a aprender (e, por fim, a ter sucesso).
