It does not appear to be particularly focused on any type of company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"translation-block\">It works entirely inside Gmail, but can also be opened in a separate tab. Its UI follows Google Material design, so it feels familiar to Gmail users, although it does seem based on a relatively old version of Material design and feels a little stale lately.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"translation-block\">Based on G2 reviews and scores, its most valued feature is its email tracking, which aligns with its initial focus on being a Gmail CRM. Nowadays, however, the company has a new focus on \u201cunifying all customer conversations in one place\u201d and whether that is working out is not clear yet from recent reviews.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Testing it out<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"translation-block\">NetHunt is one of the few CRMs where the \u201cworks inside Gmail\u201d claim is not marketing fluff. After installing it, I could open an email thread and turn the sender into a contact and company record quickly, without leaving my inbox. The CRM panel sits next to Gmail and lets you update fields, attach emails to records, and navigate your pipeline without constantly context-switching to a separate app. That Gmail-native flow is the point, and it\u2019s convenient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"translation-block\">The main thing I tested next was what NetHunt is best known for: email tracking and follow-ups. Open and click tracking worked as expected, and it\u2019s easy to use in the same place where you\u2019re already writing emails. You can also build sequences and automate some follow-up logic, which makes NetHunt feel more like a full CRM than a glorified tracker. The tradeoff is that the experience feels a bit dated visually, and once you move beyond the Gmail panel into heavier CRM work (configuration, workflows, broader \u201cunified conversations\u201d setup), it starts feeling more like a traditional CRM bolted onto Gmail than something truly seamless. It has no dedicated web application and its mobile apps are a bit limited (getting 2.5 and 3 stars in the App Store and on Google Play).<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Still, if you\u2019re a single user and don\u2019t use your CRM on your phone, Streak can be a simple and strong solution to start tracking your leads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Do note that to get all the 6 below features, you need to get on its Pro plan for teams, which will set you back $59\/user\/month (billed monthly).<\/p>\n<h4>Testing it out<\/h4>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Streak\u2019s integration with Google Workspace was seamless, fitting perfectly into my existing workflow. That is immediately its main selling point.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">If you\u2019re looking for a CRM solution, Zoho has many tiers (and products even: Zoho CRM, Zoho CRM Plus, Zoho One, \u2026). The two Google integration features below are already available on its free plan of its standard Zoho CRM product. Do note that its Gmail add-on gets the second lowest rating in this overview.<\/p>\n<h4>Testing it out<\/h4>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Using Zoho CRM highlighted its basic but functional integration with Google Workspace. The setup process was relatively straightforward, and I appreciated being able to update CRM records directly from my inbox. Syncing emails and calendar events with the CRM worked as expected.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">However, Zoho CRM fell short in several areas. It lacked advanced features like auto-creating contacts, enriching the database, and detailed email tracking.
