Heutzutage geschieht dies oft \u00fcber soziale Netzwerke wie LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook und Pinterest, kann aber sowohl online als auch offline stattfinden. Beispiele f\u00fcr Social Selling-Techniken sind das Teilen relevanter Inhalte, die direkte Interaktion mit potenziellen K\u00e4ufern und Kunden, Personal Branding und Social Listening. Social Selling erfreut sich in einer Vielzahl von Branchen zunehmender Beliebtheit, wird aber vor allem f\u00fcr den B2B-Verkauf (Business-to-Business) oder f\u00fcr stark beachtete Verbraucherk\u00e4ufe (z. B. Finanzberatung, Automobilbranche, Immobilien) eingesetzt. C2C-Unternehmen (oft als Direktvertriebsunternehmen bezeichnet) haben schon lange vor der Existenz des Internets Social-Selling-Techniken (d. h. den Aufbau von Beziehungen) eingesetzt. B2B- und B2C-Vermarkter \u00fcbernehmen jetzt viele dieser Techniken, da sie auf Social-Media-Plattformen \u00fcbertragen werden. Obwohl Social Selling manchmal mit Social Marketing verwechselt wird, gibt es zwei wesentliche Unterschiede. Erstens richtet sich Social Selling an Vertriebsexperten und nicht an Marketingfachleute.
